Ingredients

Base

  • 3 1/2 to 4 cups of bread flour
  • 2 tsp yeast 
  • 1 tsp sugar.
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Sauce

  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • 3/4 cups of water
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • Ground pepper
  • 2 tbsp pizza seasoning or other herbs

Toppings

  • Bell pepper
  • Mushrooms
  • Cheese
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Olives

 

Directions

Base

  1. Combine the yeast, water and sugar in a bowl and leave for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the flour, salt and olive oil and knead for 5-10 minutes. If the dough is sticky add flour, if it’s dry add water.
  3. Spray a bowl with oil and add your dough. Cover the top and leave for 5-8 hours. The dough should double in size.
  4. Cut the dough in two and roll out into bases.

Sauce

Combine the ingredients and mix

Pizza

Add the sauce and toppings to the pizza (Cheese should go last). Cook for 8-12 minutes until the base is crispy.
